Better Together

dav
Did you know that the French word “ensemble” means “together”? It is a term commonly used in theatre that refers to a group of performers who are performing alongside the character roles assigned in a show. TOGETHER they form the cast and company. The ensemble plays a KEY role in a production as a community of performers coming together to help tell the story.
Our Community Connection opportunity is currently with Milton Community Theatre in their annual holiday production. Members of Purple Stage Door Productions become our “Ensemble Players” and join a cast of talented community members in character roles suited to them! They are integrated into scenes, dances and songs that are adapted to not only include them but also to allow them to shine their own talents and performance strengths on stage. As with our partnership programs, one of our prominent values is to give EVERYONE the chance to shine and have a part in contributing to their roles in our theatre production and to the community at large.

*Please stay tuned for updates about our participation in a 2024 holiday production with Milton Community Theatre (Milton, Ontario, Canada).
